Juicy Juicy and Weedy Weedy
Since I went straight and started using iTunes, I’ve been continually amazed at all the out-of-print authentic dancehall and roots reggae is in their vaults. The other day, I dropped some dough on a bunch of old Eek-a-Mouse tunes, among other things. A real blast from the past. Casio keyboard horns and craptastic drum-machine reggae. Brings back high school memories of hanging out reading Thrasher, getting sunburns skating in the bank parking lot with ex-buddy Will, listening to bad reggae and hardcore on his shitty 1-speaker boombox.
Actually, I guess I don’t really miss it that much.
