can you believe I still havent seen X-Men or the Da Vinci code yet?  What the hell is up with that?

Hopefully that will change tonight…

Yesterday was a flippin’ hard bike race. Hard but good. It was my first mountain bike race since moving into the Sport category, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect.

Long story short, at the end of an hour and 13 minutes of hell, I managed to pull a 3rd place out of my ass. Not sure how though.  I was suffering so bad that I figured I must be getting killed.  I guess I forgot that everyone else had to suffer too, and maybe even worse. With no warm up and a lousy start spot, I guess I made out OK.

So, a fine day all around for the BIKEMAN RI’ers. In addition to my podium, Chuck also won in the beginner class, and Matt D. got a 2nd in the Expert race. So, hats off to us!

I will now enjoy my day off the bike…
