Weekend Update
Nice. Just got in 85 miles on the road this afternoon, did a top to bottom loop of the state, and managed to mostly dodge the rain. It was sunny and breezy down in South County. Good to finally get some real miles in. I plan on doing a few more hours tomorrow morning, do a few hard days this week, then taper down.
June is a big nitty gritty month for me: next weekend is the big mama MTB race up at Mt. Snow, Then in 2 weeks its the 4-day Fitchburg road stage race. Time to buckle down.
Also, I just mailed out a bunch of my tired old bib shorts to get their chamois replaced from these guys. They also will sew on bib tops to a set of non-bib shorts. I am doing that to a few sets of regular shorts that I had previously given up on. I think my lousy bike shorts situation might be rectified after all.
