Headed up and did the Wells Ave. training crit up in Newton yesterday along with with Matt. It was wicked fast, and nice and hot. I don’t think I drank enough, and I ended up with a little heat sickness after the race. Stomach ache and some lightheadedness. Good stuff!
Matt got taken down and got a little skinned up, but it could have been a lot worse. No bone shards sticking though skin, and no bump on the head, so that’s always good. But hitting the deck always sux dux dix.
Also, thanks to Ma Demeis for the whip-ass post-race PB sammich. I really needed that!
