Riding on a bike in a fast manner and eating afterwards
Last night was the Ninigrit Wed. nite worlds. We rode our bikes around on a an old airstrip in circles very quickly. Brendan Hammerhead, Dave Kellogg and I rocked it well and almost made it off the front for good - I thought we really had it. Except we didn’t. Kellogg ended up yelling at me a bunch because I didn’t pull in the wind correctly, and it all went pear-shaped from there. Oh well. One of these time’s we’ll get it though. We just have to keep trying the stupid shit.
After that, I hit up the Nice Slice and wolfed down a “Something More” and destroyed a few slices in the process.
All in all, I would say it was a good day… well, except for the yelling part.

Bike-To -Work Jerk
Dear bicycle advocates:
Today is Bike to work day. I done brought my bike to work…on the top of my car! Coaches plans override all environmental concerns
Besides, the roads around here are not safe for people who don’t know what they are doing on a bike. The whole idea is really irresponsible and idiodic. That’s why I say fuck Bike To Work Day.
Its raining now, I hope it ruins it for everybody.

Love in da Hood
My office surveys the waterfall and sketchy woods behind my work. I recently brought in a telescope so I can check out the goose and her babies that are now swimming around the river. Today theres this 50-something dude in a Papa Gino’s uniform, with what appears to be a 16-year old girl over there, they are drinking 40’s of Steel Reserve and smoking some weed. I think I see a bag of McDonalds too. I dunno, sounds like true romance to me.
Oh god, he just urinated in front of her.

What it is
Yesterday I had a great time getting killed out at the horrendously difficult mountain bike race in CT. It was one of those “What the hell am I doing” moments somewhere on lap 3 of 4. Getting caught and passed by the leaders from the pro womens race made me feel pretty awful about recently upgrading to expert. I suppose it is time for my just desserts (which I did have, later, BTW).

That’s blood
Let me tell ya something - if you ever play paintball, don’t be an idiot and wear shorts. Those things will go right through skin.
In other news, I will race my bike this weekend. Sunday is Mothers day. Don’t forget to buy your Mom some breakfast, except in my case it’ll be dinner as I will be suffering on my mountain bike.
Next week the El GoGo TT bike comes out of hibernation.
