!!!!!!! Mr. MISANTHROPIC !!!!!

…on Sunday. it was hard. It was an in-the-woods type bike race. I felt fast though. Also, I got stuffed by my own team mate going into a log crossing.  That was pretty fun. “Not”.  I’ll write a race report soon on the Bikeman site. Oh yeah, I also got a flat on my road bike while warming up for the race. Had to ride about 5 miles back on a flat tire, and almost miss the start.

Now, I may not have a bunch of shitty bumper stickers on my car, declaring how green I am, but I do know an eyesore when I see it. This is how I spent part of my day.

By the way, all the greenies can still choke on my smog.

As you can tell from my previous post, I raced in a crit on Saturday.

Sunday I got lost in Big River with Chuck, resulting in a sweet 10 mile or so road ride on our mountain bikes to get back to the cars. About 2.5 hours of riding though. Wet feet too, since I rode through a pond on my bike. But it was nice out so who cares. This also marked Chucks first ride on his Rapido. I think he must like it because I only saw him do a half endo once.

After that, I hit the East Ave cafe and partook in this fine dining experience:

Anyway, that’s how we do’s it in the Bucket.

I tried out the handlebar mount this morning, I think it is a lot better, less jerky…see here
I took it on the MTB last night (helmet mount) but I think its just too much shaking to be useful. I need to try it on the handlebars in the woods. I’ll run it in the crit tomorrow and see if I can get the whole race.

The quality is actually much better than this though…
