A wicked bike bang and some bike porn
Today was the first official Foxboro bike bang of the season…aka the Foxboro death ride. I headed out with bpierce who was taking his new Superfly 29er out. Brian lasted 15 minutes on the ride as the mountain bike gods apparently hated him today. Broke his chain 10 minutes in. A few minutes later, he bent his derailleur hangar, got a flat tire, and broke a spoke all in one shot. I don’t think even I have done anything like that before. So, I ended up doing the rest of the ride solo as he gave up and headed for home. 2 hours of technical goodness in for my part.
